Who is She?...
Megan Thompson was born and raised in Montana and currently resides in LA. During her 15 years in California, she has worked steadily as a commercial photographer, and directed numerous music videos for well known artists. She is best known for directing Billie Eilish in her debut music video ("Ocean Eyes"), Bayside ("It Don't Exist" and "Interrobang"), Hands Like Houses ("Overthinking", "I Am", "Colourblind"), Simple Creatures ("Strange Love"), and many, many more.
Beyond the LA music industry, she has become a staple in LA's indie comedy scene. She has made a name for herself photographing over 200 comedians throughout the years, and photographing album covers, and billboards for the likes of River Butcher ("Butcher"), Whitmer Thomas (HBO's "The Golden One"), Eliza Skinner ("Regarding My Lovers") among others.
When not creating things for clients she's exploring Southern California with her rescue dog, Alfie, building something, fostering puppies, or doing extensive research on a topic that popped into her head at 2am*.
*Such as the 1949 Mann Gulch Fire.
